This light pole has been propped up and has had large rocks and cones around the base for over six months. The rocks roll into Quinnipiac Avenue routinely and it is an eyesore. Please fix.

Thanks for reporting. This is a utility issue, as opposed to a City of New Haven streetlighting issue as we do not own the pole. I will email the utilities for an update on this pole. In the meantime, I will be recategorizing the issue to OTHER as it is not a city-owned street lamp or pole, but rather a utility issue.

However it is located on a city sidewalk and the debris at base of pole creates road hazards on a city street. This is the second report filed. I have called the lighting company to no avail. I understand the need to upgrade, but over six months is excessive.

Guess what it is Dec 15, 2013 and the pole is still not repaired.
