How does a speed indicator have nothing to do with road and traffic safety -- i must say you are either uninformed or are trying to make things harder to get fixed. The proper department was already notified AND responded. Who are you and what do you think you are doing??? You never reply and are making a mess out of this site- maybe it would be better to just not report these issues since the City is not taking these issues seriously.

The purpose of moving the post is so the department responsible for fixing this issue will have easy access to it for follow up. Traffic/Road Safety is predominantly monitored by the NHPD Traffic Enforcement Division. The speed indicators are maintained by the Transportation, Traffic and Parking Department, therefore this issue was moved to one of the categories that TT&P monitors. This is done to ensure a more efficient follow up process with city departments as well as to the citizens who report issues on this site.

Finally an explanation from the anonymous City of New Haven- Thank you for taking the time to respond.

You should really identify yourselves somehow with a department affiliation or last 4 of your city phone number or some other internal ID since there are multiple "verified officials" floating on this site and its very confusing as to who all of you are.
