Morning commuters run this stop sign religiously. Raleigh PD typically hasn't been interested in controlling speeding in this neighborhood, but maybe the allure of writing many citations in a short amount of time could convince them to post a patrol car near here? Just today, for example, I witnessed 3 southbound vehicles run the stop sign & take a right onto westbound Sasser St. at approximately 7:45am. These are probably some of the same motorists that speed down Sasser & Norris every evening at approximately 5:30pm in the other direction. These careless drivers are all trying to avoid the intersection of Glasscock x Wake Forest, and the Brookview/Oakdale neighborhood pays the price. We're walking our kids & dogs, riding our bicycles and jogging on these streets. Please slow down the commuters in this neighborhood.
