THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON W/ LCI FOR MANY YEARS WHICH LEAVES ME NO OTHER ALTERNATIVE BUT TO PUBLICLY EXPOSE WHAT'S HIDDEN IN ORDER TO GET THE HOUSING CODE DEFICIENCIES ORDERS CORRECTED
IT STATE IN LCI RULES & GUIDELINES THAT WHEN A LANDLORD IS INTENTIONALLY BEING NON-COMPLIANT OF HOUSING CODE ORDER CRIMINAL CHARGES ARE TO BE IMPOSED BUT AS U CAN SEE FROM ME STILL COMPLAINING NOTHINGS BEEN DONE..
SO LET'S SEE WHAT & HOW QUICK IT'LL BE CORRECTED NOW THAT I HAD 2 EXPOSE IT IN PUBLIC.

The Code Enforcement Division includes the enforcement of the Housing Code of the City of New Haven to ensure safe and suitable dwellings for residents. The City’s approach to Code Enforcement is to work with tenants and landlords to quickly mediate problems. When this is not possible, we rapidly and aggressively seek prosecution of landlords and/or tenants who violate the City’s Housing Code Ordinance.
If a renter has an issue or concern about their dwelling unit, renter should first contact property owners and/or managers to try to get the issue or concern resolved. If there is no response in a reasonable amount of time, tenants should then contact our office at 203-946-7090 or 203-946-8386.

Depending on the nature of the emergency and/or complaint an inspector is dispatched to the location and an inspection is conducted.
Possible Outcomes
- Housing Code Enforcement Order letter generated and severed to property owners and/or residents with a time frame for correction of the violation(s). Please click on Common Violations and Required Remediation.
- Condemnation
- Emergency Repair
- Failure to comply with the order letter represents a violation of the City of New Haven’s Housing Code Ordinance and may subject you to criminal prosecution by the State’s Attorney’s Office.

ON 11-14-13 @ 10:30A LCI DIRECTOR & A INSPECTOR FINALLY CAME OUT 2 RE-INSPECT THESE PREMISES W/ THE SAME PRE EXISTING DEFECTS FROM 3-6-13 & HAS NOW ISSUED ANOTHER CURRENT HOUSING CODE DEFICIENCY ORDER AS OF 11-19-13 GIVING LANDLORD 21 DAYS TO CORRECT MOST OF THE DEFICIENCIES AS SOME REQUIRE 2-3 DAYS.
STILL WAITING ON RESPONSE FROM HOME OWNER 2 SEE WHERE THIS ROAD LEADS FROM HERE!

TODAY IS 1-4-14 & THIS ISSUE STILL HASN'T BEEN CORRECTED & IT'S NOW 51 DAYS SINCE INSPECTION BY LCI DIRECTOR WAS DONE & THE HOUSING CODE ORDER WAS MAILED 11-20-13 & RETURNED BACK TO LCI 12-16-13 UNCLAIMED BY THE LANDLORD WHOM WAS MADE AWARE OF THIS HOUSING CODE ORDER IN COURT ON 12-10-13 IN FRONT OF HOUSING COURT JUDGE & THERE'S BEEN NO ATTEMPT TO CORRECT THIS ISSUE!
MIND U THE LAST INSPECTION ON 11-14-13 WAS A FOLLOW UP INSPECTION FROM 3-6-13, 4-11-13 & 4-30-13 WHICH ALL FAILED AS NO DEFICIENCIES HAS BEEN CORRECTED AS OF YET
