Description

Some road work was done at the intersection of Longfellow and 5th some months ago, pulling up the entire intersection, and the street markings were never replaced. This is a major bus route (that a lot of children use to get to school), and has no stop signs on 5th, so it's already dangerous for pedestrians to cross. Plus a lot of drivers don't seem to realize that it's DC law that all intersections, marked or not, are legal crosswalks. So yeah, please repaint the crosswalk. I think this would help a little. At least cars might be less likely to honk and swerve around and speed through.
