It has been several weeks since Rucker road was paved by the city. The road is quite dark at night and striping / reflectors should be added to make the roadway safer.

Following a road being repaved temporary striping is placed. The City delays installation of permanent thermoplast reflective striping for 3 weeks to 30 days to ensure that any settling or other issues are addressed by the contractor and the road meets our standards. If the road receives thermoplast striping immediately after paving is completed and the road settles or an issue is identified, the road would have to be re-milled before the issue could be addressed.
Striping operations will begin shortly.
