We actually started the rose of sharons with clippings and put them in milk quart cartons with soil, and in between we put spirea bushes, we dug and planted them ourselves, its barren now, I don't know if it will grow back....., sad all that work and its all chopped from chain saws and weed wackers Sincerely, Susan Frew
