Now that the old church is auctioned off, let's see if anything changes.

Auction was a sham, the sellers thought, brought their own buyer, but a responsible local developer and property owner bought the site, plans to build rental apartments. Thanks to LCI for a 'show of force' at the auction embarrassing the sellers into doing something!!!! Linda, Frank, Evan and Nick, thank you for helping to preserve our neighborhood!!

Let's hope they're not low income, section 8 "rentals".

I love to show people what the section 8 housing did to some of the nicest houses in New Haven up near rt 80 on Quinnipiac. very ignorant city planning but I assume someones pocket got filled. I bet the mayor knows a little something.

qRes: For the record I have a fantastic Section 8 tenant. She loves the area, takes great care of the apartment and never wants to leave. The private pay tenants before her? They never paid rent on time, trashed the apartment and eventually NHPD raided it after an undercover agent bought drugs from them several times. See why you shouldn't just throw stereotypes out there? It's all about responsible landlords who screen would-be tenants properly.

This property was auction off on October 24th. LCI will continue to monitor
