Every Thursday is trash day in Roxborough and Manayunk. I live on the corner of Delmar and Tibben Sts. The streets around here are pretty tight for a big trash and/or recycle truck to manuver around. Every week City Trucks drive UP ONTO the pavement and crack the sidewalk that I HAD TO REPAIR because of the city trucks. But wait...there's more! The trucks ALSO damaged the 4 way stop signs on the corners, bending the poles while making the turns ON the pavements and cracking up the pavement the city just made me have fixed. Each time the drivers do this, it looks as though they are goining to come through my wall and into my living room! Thank GOD our children are not out there playing on the sidewalk. Also, trash pick up should not be picked up no later than 4pm. Why on Earth do they come around after 730pm??? Overtime KILLS! No wonder the City is in debt!
