Not only are the tree stumps and cones still there, but someone helpfully added two large lampshades to the mess. Found object art, anyone?

One further comment on the cone: apparently whomever dug up the trees and left the roots along with the pile of gravel did so with the sense that the public needed to be alerted to their presence for safety.

Someone needs to tell them to finish the job!

Cones and lampshade gone. Tree stumps. How difficult would it be to pick them up off the sidewalk?

It took 7 months, but the tree stumps were carted away. I'm closing, although there is still an attractive pile of gravel heaped on the sidewalk - very inviting to dog owners who allow their animals to use everything and anything as a toilet.
