This corner is a bus stop, it rarely gets cleared before the next day when kids are standing in the street waiting for the bus the next morning. when it does get cleared, it is just the snow off the top, leaving a bit on the walk that adds to the ice dripping out of the retaining wall. A little girl reportedly got 6 stiches after falling here this season, and the neighborhood has complained for years about this before giving up due to lack of ANY response seen.
