Q. Why is this a concern?
A. We see accidents and near misses at this intersection all the time. People either assume it is a four way stop and pull out in front of a moving car. Or they whip around the corner too fast and near strike pedestrians because visibility is blocked making every turn blind. Recently the city added a sign to indicate cross traffic doesn’t stop but that isn’t enough. People either don’t pay attention to it or they are going to fast and can’t see what’s around the corner.
