I think this is an opportunity to start a conversation about waterfront redevelopment. This could be a great park.

I have wondered this for a while too! We have an amazing coastline that's totally underutilized. I know at least one of the Mayoral candidates is talking about this.

Sorry that your issue was left open for so long. Fortunately I have progress to report. FEMA finally gave us the final approvals for the project to make these repairs. Unfortunately with the time it will take to bid the project the work will have to wait for the spring - but progress is coming!

After years of regulatory complexity the project was completed this summer. Plans are already underway for more long term protections for Long Wharf park thanks to an 8M grant from the State DEEP.
