Very disruptive. I'm a few blocks away but people driving to and from that party were playing music out of their cars so loud that it was shaking my windows.

Last night was truly outrageous. Now knowing MULTIPLE residents of Pleasant Street reached out to GPD for help and got zero assistance makes it even worse. Letting this crowd run roughshod on our neighborhood until 2am then sweeping in with 30 solid minutes of sirens isn't what I consider an effective tactic. What's the real issue here? You have a force large enough to control an FSU home game but can't control a week night of Fletchers?

I think it might be more fruitful ask the city why they refuse to enforce all the code and ordinance violations Fletchers commits

We understand the frustrations of the surrounding neighborhood. It is very frustrating for us as well. Over the holiday we worked toward resolving some of the issues (both short and long term).

Our staffing for football games totals hundreds of personnel from numerous agencies that have planned and practiced and carried out game day operations for decades. Unfortunately, what has happened recently around this area is rapidly evolving and occurs without much notice. Combine that with our current low staffing numbers and it makes for a real challenge for our nightshift Lieutenants, along with other city resources.

That being said, we were able to put some measures in places in the coming day and hopefully the neighborhood saw some reprieve. Hopefully there was a noticeable difference. We are still working with other city entities to determine some alternative methods of preventing (or at least minimizing) these disruptions as time progresses.

This was from a large crowd that had gathered to attend a local establishment. We have worked toward a resolution to these issues and begun monitoring the parking lots.
