From North Street to Northline Rd, the speed limit is 30 mph and no one does this speed. The speed limit needs to be enforced and monitored by the police department not just with a machine that tells you how fast you are going.

You have this all backward. The posted speed limit should be increased to 55. Police should pull over people that go to slow. This is because faster commute makes increase productivity, and better for economy. This area all senior citizens, and entitled people free load off government. When China stop buying America bonds then the waste will hit the fan and all fat, lazy, americans will whine when no more free government money.The problem here is the people that dont work and sit home collecting social security get in way of hard working ambitious types.

I totally agree with the above, The speed limit has been changed to 45 on Rowland street towards rt 29

Rowland Street is now a safer place to drive since they lowered the speed limit from just past Hannaford down to Rt 29..
There have been too many accidents on this stretch of road even a death,off Adams road. All of you who have thought of this to be an inconvience to you...consider the accidents, 3 in one driveway...those folks just wanted to get to their home...all rear ended, because someone did not want to slow down, the poor man who died while out with his wife, someone could not wait and thought the could get across...poor judgement.....probably, but he's dead....plus so many others who have been in an accident on this road. All because of someone who thought they were right or could just make it , using poor judgement. Just remember we all have loved ones on this road, everyday. Thank goodness it's 45 now, not I think i's 55, no signs so I can go as fast as I want to speed limt.. So to those of you who do not like 45mph...too bad, ...and to all of you who drive this road...drive safely....it's 45 for a reason.

The poster below me makes an excellent post, and has very valid points. Reduced speeds in some areas may be an inconvenience when we're late for work, but they save lives. Learn to live with that extra 5 minutes added on to your commute.

I agree!! Pulling out of our neighborhood is often times very dangerous due to excessive speeding and reduced visibility in a 30 mph zone.
