Description
My concern is has I I drive down north main street I observe the side walks are being over run with wild weeds , and some home owners aren't keeping their yards free of the grass and brushes at a manicured level. we do not want to have ant tick infestation which could cause more problems for both humans and pets, however I have seen improvement with the town doing some great work on fixing things. , I do think that the Town should impose a fine on the homeowners to keep their yards and grass clear of any eye sores or things that is deem to be trash . last but not least , I have also seen trash being put out a day earlier than the designated trash day , this is also a problem , the cats or critters come by and rip the plastic bags open and the trash is all over the street .
Thanks for looking into these matters

I understand the above reporter's of legit concerns about the timing of when Trash is put outside. There may be several very good reasons for people putting out their trash the night before scheduled pick up.
There is NO excuse for people that put out their trash without being put inside secured Trash barrels! Renters should be provided trash barrels with secure lids by their Land-Owners. (I believe that is a rule or law.)
Homeowner's should also follow the Town By-laws and rules about Trash and recycling.
I also agree that many street's sidewalk's are overgrown with weeds, tree branches, and bushes that are over-grown.
School starting soon. The children need to have safe and clear sidewalks to walk to school!
If the sidewalks are not clear, then the children will walk in the streets. NOT a good thing.

I do appreciate your comment in regards to the nature of keeping Randolph beautiful and safety concerns. I do hope the town takes action / as it relates to safety and other cocerns. They also need to provide more State Law stop signs for pedestrians in the crosswalks, also providing visible crosswalks , the current crosswalks does not display a visible stop sign for pedestrians crossing. The speeding is another concern, we need the town and police to enforce more strict rules for all the traffic driving through the Town of Randolph.

How about it if Town of Randolph does something way overdue? And works with whatever agency to get Lights put up, at West Street, and stop all these ridiculous accidents?
Umm, isn't Jaywalking a "Cultural thing", like not walking on sidewalks, or shoveling them, or the hydrants?
