Status?

The Traffic Signal Management Team sent me an email and said that the timing was inline with the standard in the book (of traffic signal standards) so there wasn't much they could do about it. They said I could try talking to the head of the general traffic engineering department if I wanted (but as he is apparently the same person who thinks its more efficient to construct traffic circles instead of just making an intersection a four-way stop, I did not bother as the concept of logic would not be on my side).

This situation was reported previously and the same prescription is being applied; please walk to the median and press the traffic controller button in the median to continue safety to the other side of the street. A traffic controller has been placed at the median because no further timing adjustments can be made to the traffic signals.

It's amazing that the new traffic controllers perform more poorly than the old ones they replaced.
