Well, according to the latest Public Works Committee agendas, it has never been discussed since that council meeting where the news was present. Why? I have almost been nailed here as well.

Okay everyone, here's an idea. Why don't we have a mid-block crosswalk like the one in this photo? This type of crosswalk activates a red, yellow, or green traffic signal. However, it only activates when a pedestrian presses a button mounted on a pole. It does not control vehicular traffic on side streets in any way. This is on Broadway Street in Los Angeles.

I agree with James' idea. Could City Council discuss this idea at the next meeting?

This issue is not on the agenda for tomorrow night's council meeting either. I think it's horrible how the elderly in the area are being treated.

We should be asking where the Public Works Committee is and what they're doing? What are Juris, Madigan, and Bullock doing? Nothing has been said about the issue since September 3rd.

Well, just like the rest of the problems in this town, they think that the problem will go away if they ignore it, same thing with the gangs, crime, etc.

City has installed surveillance camera at the intersection. City is considering adding an island as well as more signs. However, it needs to happen sooner rather than later.
