i have been complaining about this very same thing for 10 years at least now only diff is i live in the north end and im tired of it i am also tired of hearing what do you expect look where you live well with all the complaints i read its not just the north end its everywhere as far as the north end its only a few houses the same houses and most of the same houses have the same people living in them example i have a house on each side of me filthy dirty looking property grass grows to approx 3 feet high i have to complaign and then some of it gets cleaned the noise from a car in particular on 6th street i bet is just as loud if not louder than the resturaunt on wakelee ave i sit in my house with the ac on windows shut and i still can thear my tv i can feel my house shake and vibrate from the white lincoln navigator but never see a cop around after so so many complaints about this same house my real qestion is why do we have so many cops and so many administrators and so many taxes with so many issues's that never seem to be dealth with pay attn lots of these issues are all the same many the sam eissue in the same house someone needs to do their job and lots of these issues will go away as things will be done according to city ordinance already in place we dont need any new laws just enforce the ones already on the books also an example of why some do and some dont why is their such a big deal made re the letter from the mayor about the healey ford property when on east main street tthere are plenty of properties blighted ya no the ones with the broken windows and the messy look about the buildings with nothing from city hall for the 16 years i have been paying attn to this mess.. it ALL needs to be cleaned up its a disgrace to see such a mess all around the city when we have so many people with good jobs in place to clean up lots of it clean it up and send the property owner the bill thats it i for one am tired of waiting it will be hard enough to sell my home to get away from here these messy ignored places make it worse

Call the blight officer if homes have over grown grass, trash,...! Please do it now! Stop the talk and do it. Also call the police about the excessive noise. Do not just live with it. Call the Ansonia police! Lets be proactive and not just sit and complain. Thank you for caring and doing something about it. It can only get better if we do something about it.

We dont play music past the town's ordinance 12:00am. That is why we have never been sited. Please don't make up stories for you cause. Should be happy for people having fun and a business doing well in your town without one incident.

Its so sad if this is truly made up because of one or two people with personal issues against the resturaunt m.b owner is correct we should all be happy to have a business in town especially one that is doing well we need all the help we can get to lower the taxes the out of control spending in sndonia is outrageous I just saw first hand how much in my tax bills

Just at this place the other evening! No blaring music not to metion the "neighbors" where are they they can't be that close as there are not many homes in that area. I cannot picture the noise carrying over the river to the North End either because while it was loud enough to hear in the parking lot route 8 drowned it out! Grow up people!

I live in the house closest to Moloto Bene and while I appreciate that they have a business to run and that their employees need their jobs, I don't understand why the music has to be as loud as it usually is. Can the base be turned down or the amps pointed toward Rt.8? You say just enjoy the music? It's a bit different if you have no choice in the matter and can't get to sleep until after the band stops. Some weekends I need to be up early for work. Let me tell you, after hearing the same playlist over and over there are some songs I never want to hear again! The military and police use sound blasting as a weapon and I can vouch for the fact that it works.

Now that makes sense Serenity Now you being so close. It just made no sense when I read this. It has also been a very popular place this summer since they changed names. I can picture listening to the same music over and over being annoying. Maybe they should give you a gift certificate for a free meal or reach out to their neighbors to say hey are we annoying and what can we do to make it better! I am not anywhere near affiliated just have been a patron. Good luck!

Yes, the music from the resturant can be heard on the North End of Ansonia, I lived on Hubbell Avenue and YES it is annoying and keeps people awake. There is no need for any band or DJ to play music so loud that it CAN BE HEARD for more that one mile. The reason the place never gets "sited" is that they are part of the "Good Ole Boys" Club of Ansonia, Dellavolpe needs to go as Mayor of what used to be a nice place to live. Ansonia has turned into a horrible low life town. WHY? just look at who's running the city! Property values are extremely low and taxes and assesments keep on piling up.

Dear Friends (suffering from Molte Bene restaurant music broadcasts). Here's what will work for you to end the nuisance: Look up State of CT Consumer Protection on the internet, get the Remonstrance Form, fill it out (check `performer behavior' and describe the noise and hours) and get affected neighbors to sign the petition as the form requires. Submit the petition and you will be given a hearing date at the Capitol in Hartford. Attend the hearing and speak (the restaurant owners are required to be there as well). I promise you you will get the noise stopped. It worked for me after years of broadcast speaker noise from Il Palio in Shelton. The owner ended up in Federal Prison for six months (for other illegalities) but the noise essentially stopped! The police won't help you. Speaking for myself, I'm not looking to put Molto Bene out of business or to shut down the party on the patio. I just want the noise level lowered to reasonable level. Stop the band at 11pm not at midnight. Thank you for the info about going to the state for help. If anybody from Molto Bene wants to meet with me to see if we can come to an agreement, I'm willing talk about this.

I live a good distance down the river from this place. I only hear it on the weekends. It is quite loud, I can hear it through my house walls. I can't imagine living closer. I have no other problem with the business, but I do not want to hear the music at all. They should contain the noise on the property somehow. Not sure why the music is outside in the first place, why not keep it indoors? At least lower the volume, put up a sound barrier or, like was said, point the speakers away from the houses.

I just walked over and had a nice conversation with Molto Bene's new owner and I strongly encourage anyone who has concerns to speak to him. It turns out that he has plans to do a number of things that will go a long way to cure the noise problem. It has become bogged down because he doesn't own the property and the town has issues with the property owners and so will not grant permits for the improvements he wants to make. I'm kind of hoping he will get these plans out here or on the Molto Bene facebook page. I told him if he needs our backing to convince the town to grant the permits, he's got it.

Great Place. Finally something to do in the valley that is fun and entertaining representing night-life in Ansonia. Shocking when comparing it to the town's Main Street after 6pm at night.....very sad site in itself especially dealing with the factory eye-sores. Soon many will never call the area the "arm-pit of Connecticut due to total bore-dum and lack of business in this area. Ansonia, a bedroom community it is not because of the ever growing temporary society of renters from all parts of the world with many on subsidy living. Embrace change Ansonia because if you scare off any tax base such as this you as a home-owner will eventually pay for the loss beyond your 3rd highest Mill-Rate in the State of Ct.
