  We will investigate the claim of work without permits. However, be advised that noise complaints are enforced by the Kearny Police Department, and must be reported while the violation is occurring. Town Code section 4-16.2 allows domestic power tools (i.e. "any mechanically powered saws, drills, sanders, grinders and tools, including similar devices...") to be used in residential neighborhoods between the hours of 7:00am and 10:00pm. Any violation outside those hours must be reported to the KPD immediately.
