You are not alone.Call the NHPD EVERY TIME you see then out there 203 946-6316.

1435 Quinnipiac Ave is NOT Hidden Quarry. 1435 is a scattered- site housing project that was put up by the city of New Haven and John Destefano, despite opposition. 1435 Quinnipiac Ave replaces the old projects on Front St. Hidden Quarry is 1425 Quinnipiac Ave and is not the newer yellow, green and grey buildings built and maintained by tax payers money.

Hidden Quarry is not public Housing. Hidden Quarry is a privately owned condo complex. Hidden Quarry is 1425 Quinnipiac Ave. How do I know? I live in Hidden Quarry, pay taxes and do not have section 8 as the people who live at 1435 Quinnipiac do. Wynn Property Management was hired by the HA to oversee their section 8 property at 1435 Quinnipiac Ave. Ennis Realty manages Hidden Quarry.

Like was said previously, this issue has not gone away, and we will not go away. With 3 homicides within 38 days, 2 directly across the street from New Haven Housing Authority properties, when is the city going to launch a narcotic investigation into the district and start becoming proactive with the quality of life crimes that occur on a daily basis in our community?

We have been working with the Housing Authority and monitoring the apartments that need to be addressed immediately, We have also launched a very focused investigation on the immediate area within the past month. That's all I can really say at this time.

I met a resident there who BASICALLY didn't have any complaints, and the induvidual RENEWED their lease at that location............so i DIDN'T get the feeling that THAT AREA was THAT BAD.............

Concerned mom: Park your car there on a Friday night at 8-9pm and take a walk in the neighborhood for 20 minutes. If you have any reservations about doing this then listen to your conscience.
