Drivers consistently use the Holiday Cinema/Big Lots Parking lot off of Rt 5 as a quick cut through up to Rt 68. I have witnessed drivers at speeds of over 40mph cutting haphazardly through the parking lot with no regard to parked cars, driving lanes, etc.

I believe this is designated as a parking lot and not a thru street. If it is to be used as a thru street there should be designated lanes for driving as well as speed limits posted. The current driving and speeding practices put shoppers and others using the parking lot for its intended purpose at risk.
