After reporting the pothole problem on here 3 months ago as well as phoning in the problem to the City Public Works Department multiple times, the potholes have still not been filled. I am disappointed that the City of Meriden is not willing to maintain their roads. Going into the winter months water/freeze damage to the existing pavement will only get worse without a fix. Not only is the problem making life unpleasant for the nearby residents due to the noise of vehicles hitting the potholes, it is only a matter of time until it causes an accident resulting in lawsuits against the City due to dangerous condition of the City owned road. I hope that this issue can be resolved and that the residents of Meriden can be proud of the City officials that are employed to serve them.
