and now there are HUGE tree "pieces" waiting to be removed safely or become the area eyesore and newest "playground". BTW: the aforementioned tree is on ROWE ST. @ the Dover-Rowe cul-de-sac.
FANTASTIC! This hazard is GONE as of 8/7/13 p.m MANY THANKS for your care & promptness!!......NOW the visible issue is the horrific, dangerous sidewalk elevations due to the traveling root system UNDER the cement. Neighbor children enjoy playing on the sidewalk area but way too many "fall-downs" & "trip-ups" with injuries, minor SO FAR!
As of TODAY, the HUGE STUMP remains a safety issue (children & elderly frequently walk & visit at this area) and the sidewalk has elevated even MORE! (a miserable issue when shoveling in the winter!), along with the root system encroaching the homestead. HELP, please,
Looking forward to PART 3 of the "Tree Removal is a 3-step process:" as mentioned on http://www.cityofnewhaven.com/Parks/trees/index.asp.!
