This was reported to the Parks Dept. If this is the wooden slats which are connected by cable, the repair parts are on order and expected to arrive within 2 weeks. In the future please report problems or concerns to the Hamden Help Desk via help@hamden.com or 203-287-7676. Thank you.

Thank you. When I was there, it was actually the rope itself, at the top of the ladder, that was broken.
