What did the mayors action bureau tell you?

They called back and asked his name. I told them what I knew. They never called back. I think everyone denied everything. Employees should wear name badges because the public interacts with them and they say it had to be the other guy. There is no way to know who works for the city around the pool for example, except the lifeguards.

This is a recurring issue at Enos Jones park which has been happening for years. While personal calls/texts to Danny Rivera often yield a quick response, this park needs attention from the city to ensure consistent & reliable opening/closing of facilities (playground, sprinklers, stadium lights, skate park). Also cleaning & maintenance of this park is lacking despite the existence of paid staff.

Found the guy who is in charge of recreation at the park. Wear your Fulop Staff T Shirt and people actually talk to you. The new head of DPW is Mike Rizolli. Each activity and department reports, sort of, to its self and department head. Each blame the other. Noone faces up and just trys to solve a problem. The maintenance people dispatch by no schedule known to anyone at the park, and for unknown reasons. They mow and weed wack or whatever completley on their own timetable, reporting to no one else. request them. It goes all the way up your
dept and then all the way up theirs and
nothing is communicated. They just show
up, cut down bushes instead of trees, pack
up, and go. There is no way to know where
they will be. There is no reason to exist to serve neighbors, only their own fiefdom, whether it be the baseball league, which hogs resources with no accounting for their income, or the pool, oreven the one litter man John. They each hide information from each
other. No one place says whats going on at the park that day. Their is no UNIFIED park culture, just fiefdoms. DPW does not feel invested in any park because they do not see them as anything but a job on a schedule. As a result, they chip up memorials, knock over lighting, run over tree trunks injuring them, drive trucks all over the grass, and have no supervision.
