Description
There is no set day that the street is swept. The street cleaners have come on a Monday, Friday or Thursday (today). They are sweeping now in the rain. There is no sign posted. I park in front of my house. if I know they are coming I park in my driveway. Why is there no set schedule with a set day. Please provide that information to me.

WHY are you surprised? This is the way it has been for YEARS! We get no warning, no signs, no reverse phone calls etc. Just be lucky they come to the East Shore, Morris Cove, at all. IF they sweep 3 times a year that's a lot! The inner city has regular set days when their streets are swept. Maybe we should start throwing crap in the streets too and then they'll come more often?

Tell me that the schedule listed at the Public Works site is even CLOSE to accurate! The 4th Friday and the 4th Monday of the month- OMG! I guess it looks good on "paper", but in reality it's fiction!

Is there a difference between Stuyvesant AVENUE and Stuyvesant STREET? Does it change at the corner of Hyde St. or did the city just run out of AVENUE street signs?

Did YOU see them sweep your street on Friday the 22nd or Monday the 25th of October? That's what the schedule says. LOL.... Like I said, schedule looks good on paper/website, but in reality, it's a FARCE!

YIPEE!! The street sweepers were around the Townsend Ave., Woodward Ave., Kneeland Rd., Ft. Hale Rd areas today Friday October 29! Were they on your street? Let's see when their next appearance will be. I'm betting SPRING when they come to get the sand off the streets!

Thanks for the heads up, nut they come any day of the week over here. If they tow after coming on a non posted day...
