Beschreibung
The south bound right lane of Rio Grand from Floral to Rose is lined to have no traffic. This was done for the safety of those pulling out of Rose onto Rio Grande. This is ineffective. Motorists continually use this lane to by pass traffic. There either is an accident or near miss daily as a result of this behavior. We need to place a cement curb/barrier to prevent this traffic and protect our families.

Per the Traffic Division, the street was striped as requested by residents and for a bicycle lane. Since re-striping there have been no further requests for change except this one. The installation of a barrier would represent a greater hazard than the current configuration.
