A new left turn lane has been installed on Rockville Pike just north of Montrose road with a left turn arrow. It is a barricaded left turn lane in that there is a curb separating the left turn lane from the main roadway. Cars heading North on Rockville Pike are stopping in the main travel lane to make a left turn because of the curb barrier. The drivers are waiting for the left turn arrow to turn green even though they have a green light to go straight. There will be accidents. There needs to be a sign that says "No left turn from main roadway."
