10/30/2010 Welcome to Philthydelphia! Does Mayor Clutter need stimulus money to get this cleaned up? Or is this the welcome message he wants to send to cyclists coming to Philly from Valley Forge - that Philadephia is a dump?

This pile of construction waste needs to be cleaned up!

This has been here since late summer. When it first arrived it had a sign that said 21 street cafe.I called the city both L&I and Trash collection. Shortly after that the sign with the name on it disappeared. But the trash never did.

Thanks for reporting this issue. We have contacted Sanitation and they will have someone look into this illegal dumping of debri. -4th District Council Office

We have contacted the Streets department short dumping squad. They will try to get to this tomorrow.- 4th District Councilman Office.

A Fairmount Park employee told me that on Thursday, he saw that the material had been removed. Thank you Councilman Jones' office! I think the Councilman's effort to get the Streets Dept. on this resolved this issue.

It is indeed gone. I was running there on Sunday and every piece of construction debris had been removed.
