Sidewalks in Hamden are generally dangerous-one trips over raised walks and broken pavements-especially at the end of Augur Street where it intersects with Newhall-The tornado cleanup in 1989 caused heavy equipment to crush a large portion of the sidewalk -that was 24 years ago and numerous requests to remedy this situation have been ignored-Once again Southern Hamden is last on the list-Our Mayor who hails from Southern Hamden should understand our frustration-especially for the taxes we pay!
