Owing to the extremely poor line of sight at this intersection when turning left from eastbound Forest Hill, I do not believe the response from Richmond Traffic Management is sufficient (and would invite them to try to make a such a turn during the evening rush hour - especially when at dusk when visibility is further impaired). It extremely difficult to yield to a vehicle you do not know is there.

I completely agree. I don't think Traffic has actually even gone out to investigate this issue. I have noticed that whenever an issue id "under consideration by traffitc" it just stalls and dies.

Traffic Management states ""We have the appropriate traffic signal phasing and signing at this intersection." This is a false statement. Citizens who use this intersection regularly know that this is untrue. There is no statement that Traffic Management is planning further study, no assurance that the problem is being investigated. Just a blanket dismissal using a false statement. IF Traffic Management had appropriate signal phasing and signing at this intersection, citizens would not be voicing these concerns. Traffic Management in this instance is failing to provide the reasonable level of public service that citizens have a right to expect from their local government. Traffic Management's arrogant dismissal of the problem amounts to simply saying "Nuh uh," which is insufficient. I challenge Traffic Managemet to provide any evidence for their claim that this widely-observed problem does not exist. Those who regularly observe this problem know that any statement claiming it does not exist is a false statement and such unproductive statements warrant some attempt at verification.
