Description

The newly installed crosswalk signals are blocking sidewalk access for wheelchairs and are also blocking part of the sidewalk for the large numbers of students walking to and from Mauro-Sheridan and Chapel Haven schools! The corners do have ramp access, but the sidewalks on Emerson Street are very narrow. If my memory serves correctly, these crosswalks were petitioned and installed after a tragic accident involving a Chapel Haven resident in a wheelchair many years ago...PLEASE fix this newly created problem and make our street safe for all!!!
