Description

The grid in which our block receives electricity frequently goes out for extended periods of time; especially during any period of inclement weather. Over the past year, we have lost power a minimum of five times. Regularly, the outages have occurred during cold temperatures, forcing us to stay with relatives until the problem is fixed. Not only is it a inconvenience for us to pack our belonginngs and travel, we also have lost money in food that has gone bad. It seems there is a larger problem with our local grid that needs to be addressed. I have contacted DTE, however, I believe the city should also help to take action with this issue. Thank you.
