I also noted that atmhomecoming game the restrooms were awful. The entire concession stand facilities looked unkept and dirty. Why againi is there not someone overseeing the maintance and clean up !

You would not see this in the surrounding towns !
They take pride in their town and facilities.

Bathrooms are always a mess. Got complaints from both team parents. Why wasn’t the concession stand open for drinks and food? Embarrassing.
They still haven’t cleaned the paper after the 4 of July!

Again there is no one taking ownership in the town for maintaining the town’s roads, school property, school
Facilities. We can’t run a town with a site that we lodge a complaint and it is addressed only one
time.

Public Health hazard....was there an inspection of the concession stand?

Could have been or the booster clubs who usually run the concession stand may not have followed through! Just a sad (but consistent) representation of our town.

Full disclosure- I am a parent of a high school football player and a booster club member. The football booster club only gets to run the concession stand for ONE of the football games each season. They were not assigned for the homecoming game. They have painted and cleaned those team rooms and other facilities every season (I know because I have volunteered to help). The complaint was about broken bathrooms. The boosters can't do anything about that except notify the authorities- which they did weeks ago!

Very disappointing. Tough to have pride in a program when you have no pride in facilities.

Almost certain parks and rec are the ones who have the responsibility.

thats all well and good but can the power that be let the Parks and Rec know that they need to maintain the facility on a weekly basis before and after games etc. Should not be up to the citizens of Wilton to lodge complaints.
