Description
Gutter in front of house runs flat to uphill for a bit. Sediment builds up and there is standing water for long periods after rains.
There was a crude patch done by the city in 2012. It was recently broken up by, I think, city workers who came out to look at it after I mentioned it wasn’t working very well. It looked like it was kicked and broke up into a few big pieces. Then I think a street sweeper turned it into rubble.

This spot has had standing water for 10 years or more.
Just saying.
Last Monday I was talking with the person (can't find his business card just now) who coordinates water and waste underground piping.
I'm thinking the street gutters sinking on both sides of the street are related to regular water main breaks we have had along this 300' stretch of street that started with the project to replace the storm sewer under Davidson back in the day.
There might be a synergy is coordinating here.
