The TV is STILL there! What an eyesore

It's still there. Why isn't there a truck that picks up the trash in city lots. Let the police enforce blight and those who litter and the other departments need to keep the town clean. There also needs more enforcement for residents that can't manage their own trash. So many homes don't use trash pails. No lids. They are exposed so raccoons and skunks can eat like kings and keep their population increasing. Everything is connected. We need more cohesion among residents and town officials.

There are two "dismembered" tv's in the parking lot on the northeast side of the skate park on Beach Street. They have been there for MONTHS. Neither the maintenance staff at the Morse Park ball fields directly behind this lot have bothered to do anything about it, nor have the guys who drive down Beach St emptying the garbage cans (now that they have finally, sort of, been returned). There is a undeniable appearance of neglect and decrepitude that is taking over much of the city: areas that have, for all appearances, been abandoned. While this and other evidences of neglect continue, the city has not dialed back on its obsession with frivolous acts like beach grooming. Already some of the beaches around Grove Park have been groomed 3 or 4 times. Meantime, the rest of the city is falling apart.
