Homeless encampment on 28th & Union is out of hand, tons and tons of trash, appliances, and mattresses, not to mention feces. Rats are constantly seen rooting around the encampment. The city has done nothing for months. Occasionally CASS workers will clean up some of the mess, but the encampment is on PUBLIC PROPERTY and the city needs to take responsibility and stop ignoring the problem. There are families that live on this street.
