What is up with this. I live at 360 state and with all windows closed can hear it loud and clear. It is 2:48 AM and I have not been able to sleep. At least if it was constant maybe it would be background noise. But this is on 5 seconds, off for 1 second. All night.

I live in Wooster Sq. but i know all about what your dealing with from last year. After tons of complaints and meetings and being told that " we are using sound mitigation"(lie), i found out best was to buy earplugs. The noise ordinances are a joke.

The construction was from Comcast cable digging up the street to install cable to lower chapel. Hopefully now SeeClickFix will have solid internet after all of this work. The city would not give the contractor a permit for daytime work due to the bus route, but this is not proper to surprise a neighborhood with evening work. I am going to work on a way for notification to at minimum the Alder of an area with a work permit - who would then notify their neighborhood.

The construction was scheduled to be completed last night, so I am closing the issue for now - please reopen if it's recurring!

Earplugs were not enough to make much of a dent in the volume last night ...
