We've had the same problem and have been dealing with the City since June 2016. To date, the tree in front of our yard has not been removed, but a black strip of tar had immediately been placed on our sidewalk to prevent people from tripping on the raised cement. You need to be added to a list in order for your tree problem to be corrected. We've been trying to get on that list for two years and have yet to receive any confirmation that we're on it, no matter how many City employees and departments we've contacted. The list must be extremely LONG!
