At a CMT meeting held at Sheridan School last week and also concerns expressed previously on See Click Fix by residents of Springside Avenue, Mayor Harp said a traffic study would be made soon about issues of speeding, high volume of cars and trucks, etc would be started very soon.
As of today, May 14th nothing to my knowledge has taken place.
Please keep your promise Mayor Harp.

These cars are circumventing turning onto Springdale from Blake St due to congestion at the intersection or that a red light is visible to Blake St traffic.
In changing their route (traveling up Austin St) these cars travel at a high unreasonable speed to beat the traffic turning onto Springdale from Blake St.
I would wish that the study possibly include speed bumps on Austin St.
The amount of cars utilizing Austin St would continue, however the speed bumps would force the operators to travel at more reasonable speed for this neighborhood.

I would also like it to include Hard Street on to Springside because of the number of cars which go down Hard Street from Springside in the wrong direction to avoid the long line which when SCSU is in session stretches in the afternoon from the light at Blake and Springside all the way up to 90 Springside
I spoke to our police district manager about this at the recent CMT meeting at Sheridan

I also got the message loud and cleat that "See Click Fix" is only good for reporting certain issues such as Illegal Dumping, Liveable City Issues . I have reportrd many issues in the past some with the courtesy of a response and action which has taken up to and over 2 weeks to resolve
Othets have had no response at all for exzmple high grass growing up poles and street signs across from 90-138 Springside
This has been outstanding for TWO years. NOTHING HAS EVER BEEN DONE.
I AM A VERY DISCOURAGED SEE CLICK FIX USER AT THE SAME TIME MY TAXES ARE GOING UP.
Please give me the courtesy of a response this time if anyone reads this at all.
Apparently the impression I got last night from Alder Furlow was that you are better off going through your Alder than trying to get a solution or answer any other way.

The original concerns were not only speed but amount of traffic coming from SCSU on Wintergreen and taking the left down Springside to Blake.
I have no idea what your response means and what direction SE is in your response. You need to be more specific.
