Problems continue to deteriorate despite a direct request through the road commisson's system and repair season officially open since May 1. I'm trying to think positively that maybe they are left unrepaired because there are plans to replace the paving from the road bed up!
Last week I saw the "durapatch" truck drive by and had hopes! Even drove east for the first time in weeks! No luck! Still just random holes filled in. Teeth rattlers send you to straddle the center line! Almost two months into the newspaper touting of the latest patching technology and our road is still in the pits! It would be better off gravel! Same for Homer Road around the corner... all the earlier fills are popped out and your wheels are rolling Russian roulette!
No changes even though we are half way through June. Someone on the immediate east side of 23 Mile Rd has even outline some bad holes with spray paint. This at least helps you avoid those holes. Now there needs the same markings for another 3 miles to the west!
