Description
From one street away, I hear children (crying from the apartments above) awakened by the very loud truck deliveries going in and out of this cheese factory (metal clanging ramps, handtrucks, barrels etc.), which happen anytime from 4-6am.
1) Also, I cannot find any official records of appropriate safety measures taken, in the construction of this factory (for the various production and processing machines that are running here throughout the night).
Amongst other concerns, the buildings boilers have not been approved by the DOB.
2) This business is a Cheese Factory masquerading as a storefront in a residential/commercial area ie. not an Industrial Zoned (factory) area.
I believe the business may be calling itself retail/storefront, but there is no storefront, cash register or display cases/fridges. If you go in with the 'exact' change they will cut off a piece of cheese for you(?).
3) Deliveries of materials for mass cheese production are between 4-6am, again, in a Residentially Zoned Area—above the Cheese Factory are 3 floors of apartments, housing various non-american immigrants who may be afraid to complain.

Brooklyn Community Board 14, what are the findings of this inquiry?

Well done BCB 14.
Yes, the noise and various health and safety hazards to the residents directly above, and in close proximity, are a great concern.

I see the premises is still currently operating as a commercial food production factory, and the middle-of-the-night deliveries still continue?
I don't understand what 'low priority' entails? There are tenants with babies and young families living above this noisy and hazardous illegal factory situation?

Alas, as most of them are probably not legal US citizens, I don't foresee that happening.
Shame.

I can't imagine that the "not-exactly-legal" residents of the building(s) concerned would file a complaint/report against their own landlord(s)!?
Nevertheless, the 4am+ deliveries by 18-wheeler semi-trailer trucks to this business still continue...!?

It appears this commercial business, illegally operating in a storefront, as well as causing disruption and noise (4am-6am 18-wheeler deliveries) to residents for a one-block radius, have moved on to more suitable (and legal, we hope) premises .
Congrats BCB14! Great job.
