Deskripsyon

Pedestrian button for traffic signal stuck down, traffic signal changing and crosswalk signal continuously activating since July 2012, red light disrupts traffic flow needlessly
Conversely, I can not get the signal to detect my bicycle to trip the signal in order to lawfully and safely cross State Street when the system works as designed.

Now that the building on the NW corner is under construction and the sidewalk is blocked off with portable fencing, pedestrians cannot access the signal buttons, and they have to walk in the traffic lane when it's raining. I can lend a few suggestions to why this stretch of lower State cannot attract and hold any businesses.

The sidewalk is reopened most of the time, and the buttons are still stuck down. I could pry most of them back out with a pocketknife but I've got better things to waste time on.

The location and nature of the ever-present construction continues to change, but the buttons are still stuck. A streetscape project has been promised, but in the meantime the buttons are still stuck down.
