The sidewalk east of Chicken & Waffles was not shoveled and very slippery Friday night. The condition was at the Mienike Auto Shop. It was very difficult to get to Chicken and Waffles.

Service Request number W044748-022513 has been closed/completed, the Health Department advises that the current City Code only addresses snowfall on public sidewalks after a 4" snowfall event occurring over a span of 24 hours. The Health Department can only address private property situations and unfortunately there is not a current code that addresses icy public sidewalks. Staff is working to address this due to a number concerns received from residents. Thank you
