Thanks Steve! Appreciate it. It’s a struggle for the van driver getting the wheelchair from the sidewalk to the street to take Mr C to his appointments.

The City had 6 squares of concrete replaced on our block. 2 squares in front of 3 houses. Before I continue I first want to say Thanks for actually fixing the sidewalk in front of our handicapped neighbors house. My unresolved complaint is the City actually paid another company to shave down the concrete in front of my house #89 making it look worst and more hazardous than before. Yes sand down to smooth it out with crumbling concrete all around it. It looks absolutely ridiculous. If you really want to save money hire someone who actually knows about planting trees so all the sidewalks in New Haven are not destroyed by trees that are too big to grow between the street and sidewalk. These huge trees which are still growing are destroying the sidewalks not just on my street but throughout Newhallville. And please stop wasting money on contracts for someone to come do a quick temporary fix. The guy even said he will probably be back next year because it will continue. What a joke! I want the sidewalk in front of my house fixed appropriately. This is unacceptable. Our taxes continue to rise but the money is not being spent to address issues such as these.
