I believe the employee who works for 1800GOTJUNK lives nearby because there is always a truck parked on the corner by Junction Brewery, sometimes empty and sometimes fully loaded. It has always seemed odd to me that it would be allowed to park fully loaded overnight.

The truck is always parked on that corner with the exception of the one day it was moved by the stop sign behind Safeway. It seems like they are just parking it there for free advertising.
The real hazard is that the people trying to turn out of the Canyon Plaza CANNOT see around the truck. It doesn't matter if they are turning left or right, they CANNOT see down the road for oncoming cars.

ACPD responded out and is monitoring the vehicle regularly. The vehicle is complying and moving every 72hrs and is not parked in a red zone. Therefore, there isn't any violation currently. It is parked in a zone designated as CN (Neighborhood Commercial), which is not a residential zone. In addition, the vehicle would have to exceed 10,000 pounds to be considered commercial.
