Agreed. Daily I make a left turn from rt 9 south heading onto 9R and cars coming northbound on rt9 making that right don't even acknowledge oncoming traffic at the yield more than half the time. With a stoplight by Latham Ford, the traffic gets congested and God forbid you have to get in the right lane to turn right onto Old Loudon Road. And I am the one that gets flipped off... maybe it will take a few sideswipes for this to be acknowledged and fixed. Clearly a yield sign only does not resolve the issue. The lane is long enough up Rt 9 north to allow for a turn signal to be installed. They did it a few years back on the intersection of Old Loudon and 9R. What would it hurt? Or better yet, who would it NOT hurt?

The right lane from US 9 northbound towards NY 9R towards Cohoes do not need a YIELD sign, due to the fact that there are already 2 lanes headed eastbound.
