PG&E periodically paints over the old graffiti, but only after letting it stay up for weeks, possibly months, at a time. The wall stays clean for a short time, only to get tagged again. This means that despite the fact that PG&E does periodical cleaning, the wall in question stays tagged most of the time.

The City of Oakland Call Center addressed this issue on 01/31/2018, service request #790821.
