Description

The Dept. of Traffic Signs and Markings has recently installed a stop sign in the WRONG PLACE where it is obscured. As you can see from the photo, a tree is obscuring the view of the stop sign as drivers approach from the South. When the leaves come out in the Spring, the stop sign will be totally obscured. It is located on the SE corner of Silver and Aliso SE. The tree in question is located on the property of 3900 Silver SE. The sign installers should have noticed this obvious problem. The remedy is to install the stop sign within 2 feet of Aliso curb. This may still require some minor pruning of the tree, but far less than removing half the tree to see the stop sign where it is presently located.
